I bought this sled 7 years ago, for $80 if I remember correctly. Well, yesterday, as they came sledding down the mountain, they somehow hit a bump, and went flying all over the place. Eddie has been begging me to send this movie to his uncle (soYsbrand, check your mail, it's a good one). I tried to upload it to this blog, but it doesn't work. Too big a file, it seems, even though I cut out part of the ride coming down (they started at the 3rd pole) and the crying scene afterwards. The sled was pretty much in pieces, although the picture doesn't show it. The steering wheel was ripped off, four screws were bent and dislodged, the ski under the sled bent in two, the red plastic chassic was busted all along the left side and back. Obi's nose was bleeding, and Eddie has been complaining of his ribs. T'was a spectacular ride though. And the end of the sled.
