| Supermoon over Beirut |
Tonight (Monday night) will show the
third and final supermoon
of 2014. A moon is a supermoon when it’s full and makes it closest
approach to Earth in its orbit. This month’s moon is also known as the Harvest
Moon since it falls closest to the autumn equinox. (source)
So I thought I'd make a picture of it. For those that forgot to look at it. It almost looks like the sun, so bright.
I am pretty impressed with my close-up of the moon, especially since I am the proud owner of a tiny pocket camera; no special lenses or intricate gadgets for me.
