Sometimes Beirut is just like any town. Kids walk to school in the morning, and back again in the afternoon. And when they come home they drink tea.
It would be nice if it were always like that. No worries about things to come, things that might happen. A place where you can plan for the future.
On the other hand, this is probably the charm of the town; to live in a place where history is happening, to live in a town that is on CNN on a monthly basis. Never a boring day.In the end it is a trade-off.

Yeah it's good to be on CNN. So what about moving to Kabul, or Darfour maybe? Y.

Yeah i think I'd rather have more boring days to come..
I promise you, the novelty of being on CNN will soon wear off, and you'll be happy for the day where we don't get mentioned on the news.
The boring the better, as long as they are not caused by MUST.
