Miscellaneous

It's cold and wet in Beirut, and I have nothing to say today, and so I fill the page with some miscellaneous images for those that feel homesick (this one was made yesterday, when the sun was shining in the afternoon). Any guess where this is?

soo lets see...first thing i need u to know and really listen to..being a journalest doesnt prove a thing because a lot of journalists lie A LOT and that doesnt mean ur lying..but anyways...talking about weird things that dont happen in lebanon is a weird thing dont u think ?..like women that introduce themselves as IM A CATHOLIC FROM " somewhere " in a business dinner ur sister in law went to...( this seems like ur sister in law is a muslem and doesnt like christians...thats y she said this )...thats even too weird for a dog to believe...ive been in lebanon for 45 years ive lived through all of the things that happened here...and i am lebanese..so lying to ALL the ppl that come here is not a good thing..u know ;) im not telling u ur a liar...u just pretend to b a nice lady behind ur blond hair that comes from holland..we dont need ppl from holland criticizing our lives in lebanon and especially such stupid criticiszm just like the one u r doing...( sorry if i offended u )

anyways...this picture is in beirut on the highway on ur right as u go to the north on ur left as u got to downtown beirut ;)..see u soon in a bette blog .

The only thing K.G. is right about is the location of the picture; between Bourj Hammoud and Sassine (bus 5 and 8 will take you past it). Vermoeiend commentaar zeg.

PLEASE WRITE IN ENGLISH SOME PPL KNOW DUTCH....THANK U !

Yes, I'm just sitting here thinking of something to say. He has apparently taken the trouble to go through a lot of old items, because he came up with information about my sister in law from 2005. Heck. I should have known to laugh. How angry some people are that they even make such ridiculous comments.

IDIOT !:D

Kun je me alsjeblieft vertellen waarom mensen zoals jij naar Lebanon komen om ons te irriteren... Waarom blijf je niet waar je vandaan komt, kleef je tong aan het plafond als je niks beters te doen hebt.

u see lebanese ppl can insult u in ur own language too...:)

i would say somewhere in the triangle between karm el zeitoun, nahr and burj hammound.

i just love those random snapshots. i always take them on black and white film and i enjoy developing them and as they are revealed, i take my time guessing where each was taken.

cheers sietske, keep it up.

Hey K.G., your last comment was from 09:15, that's so many hours ago, I think it's about time you start yelling again. Come on boy, we love to hear from you... Y.

Jesus K.G. Could you take the time to re-read or spell-check your ramblings?

"WRITE IN ENGLISH"

Could we ask the same of you?

Aww, did you do a crash course in MSN english and want to practice "ur" talent here in the comments section of this blog? Do you need a friend?

Grow up, or at least have something interesting to say (in a coherent manner.) Unqualified venom suits you well. Do you miss how important you felt being a gunman? Helping "your" people, yes? "Protecting" your community?
